Fabricated Structures Strongwell has a substantial capability to fabricate and assemble parts, components, sub-assemblies and entire shop-built structures. The fabrication groups at both the Bristol and Chatfield divisions are supported by registered professional structural engineers experienced in FRP design and AutoCAD detailers who translate requirements into shop drawings. Typical fabrications include beam, column and plate structures, platforms and deck structures as well as other custom fabrications involving grating and handrail.

Pultruded Grating Standard DURADEK® and custom DURAGRID® pultruded fiberglass grating are available in a wide variety of bar shapes and spacings to meet your specific needs. As an added safety feature, Strongwell's pultruded grating can be ordered with a durable non-skid surface, making it ideal for use in wet environments.

	STRONGRAIL® and Custom Architectural Handrail STRONGRAIL® and custom architectural fiberglass handrail systems are strong, attractive and withstand even corrosive salt-water environments with ease. Systems can be made to meet ADA requirements and a variety of colors, pickets and rails can be combined to create a unique handrail system that adds safety and beauty to your property.

Decking Strongwell's SAFPLANK® interlocking decking system is an excellent surface material for use in wet and corrosive environments. The lightweight, corrosion- and rot- resistant material installs quickly and requires virtually no maintenance. SAFPLANK® is also low in thermal and electrical conductivity, making it safe for bare feet. Slotted SAFPLANK® is also available to allow for drainage.

	Stair Treads Strongwell offers a variety of stair treads and stair tread covers to meet the specific requirements of your application. DURADEK® and DURAGRID® pultruded grating stair treads allow water to pass though, as shown at left. DURAGRATE® molded grating stair treads are also available.
